A Growing Force

From these humble beginnings, a partnership with the Anglican Diocese of Accra (Ghana, West Africa) was forged. What began with one church, three men, a Bishop?Äôs vision and a well has resulted in recent times:
• A Medical Outreach program in 2006 in collaboration with the Ghana Health Services;
• Training for Traditional Birth Attendance;
• Leadership training for clergy; the Lay, especially Teachers;
• Provision of Bibles for prisoners;
• Partnered with T4global in an ongoing relationship designed to provide oral HIV and Bible education in remote villages using solar-based energy communications tools;
• Digging of wells;
• Building of Churches;
• Helping complete and put a roof on a church;
• Renovated and expanded a school (grades 1-8);
• Refurbishing a building to open a high school;
• Building three first step structure (schools);
• Initiated building a vocational technical school; and
• As of the most recent mission trip in October 2007, the Branches of the Vine ministry has seen the involvement of more than 60 volunteers, from 3 countries, representing over 20 churches and 7 denominations.
