St. Paul's:
There are a number of inferences to EDUCATION i.e., leaving the community to attend school for those communities that do not have schools located in the community, cost of travel and tuition, cost and availability of boarding schools. Schools are limited especially in local communities. The consequences education is not encouraged leading to a lack of education and drop outs.
St. Paul's Anglican Church in the Accra East Arch Deaconry is a community that did not have a high school to encourage and help young people with their education. There was available land and facility already in place to serve as a school. Bishop Akrofi said that if a building in the area was refurbish a high school could open. Refurbishing work started in October 2006. St. Paul's High School opened October 2007. However, the work is not completed there is still much work to done. The roof has to be repaired or replaced and second floor has to be refurbished.
